Maui’s Enchanted Spell

My cousin Aiza and her long time boyfriend Jamie got engaged last 2015 during their adventure in Las Vegas.  I remember the time when Jamie told me that he’s proposing after Aiza’s graduation.  I joked that I knew all about it and he was being so predictable.  Kidding aside, after the proposal, I was part of the wedding preparation and had finally decided that it will be a destination wedding and it will be in MAUI, HI!  Since I’m not yet a Canadian citizen, I have to travel to Calgary to get a US visa and fortunately got approved.

Two months before the wedding (November 2016), I was still on a dilemma if I am able to make the wedding, as there were issues on my funds! But all is well and I was able to attend the wedding and be part of the very intimate ceremony at the rustic Olowalu Plantation House in Lahaina, HI.

The Bruhs and Me on our leis at the  Old Lahaina Luau

Pictures above are some of the best memories I had in Hawaii!  From Kihei beach, Kaanapali beach,  Kapalua Beach, Luau at Old Lahaina Luau and watching the beautiful sunrise at Haleakala National National Park, truly my experience in Maui was one of the best! I will try and post more pictures of my Maui trip soon!

Montréal: La Ville aux Cent Clochers

The City of Saints. The City of a Hundred Steeples. The Metropolis. Whatever you may call it, Montréal is a great city with a lot to offer for everybody. With a population of fast approaching 4 million, Montréal is Canada’s 2nd biggest city next to Toronto. Montreal has been overtaken by Toronto as Canada’s commercial capital, but it is still an important hub for commerce, arts, culture and architecture.

Montreal highlights its arts and culture scene as a key feature. The city is known for its many art galleries; and public art installations appear in the streets throughout downtown and residential areas. Main arteries like St. Laurent Boulevard and St. Catherine Street are frequently blocked to car traffic to accommodate street festivals like Just for Laughs, the world’s largest comedy festival; the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Montreal World Film Festival, Montreal Fireworks Festival and many other world class events.
